Ingredients
  

Chicken

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs cut into bite-size pieces
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika

Honey Butter Sauce

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce optional
  • ½ tsp chili flakes optional

Optional Garnish

  • chopped parsley
  • sesame seeds
  • sliced green onions

Instructions  

  • Prepare the chicken
  • Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels. In a bowl, toss them with cornstarch, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
  • Add oil
  • Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and mix well so the coating sticks.
  • Preheat the air fryer
  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 3 minutes.
  • Cook the chicken
  • Place the chicken pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Make the honey butter sauce
  • While the chicken cooks, melt butter in a small pan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in honey and soy sauce and simmer for 1–2 minutes.
  • Coat the chicken
  • Transfer cooked chicken to a large bowl. Pour the warm honey butter sauce over the chicken and toss until evenly coated.
  • Garnish and serve
  • Sprinkle with parsley, sesame seeds, or green onions if desired. Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
