Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs or panko

For the Wraps

  • 6 small flour tortillas
  • ½ cup ranch dressing homemade or store-bought
  • cups shredded cheddar Colby Jack, or mozzarella
  • cups shredded iceberg or romaine lettuce

Instructions  

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

  • Set up a breading station with three bowls: flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip into egg, then coat fully in breadcrumbs.

Step 2: Cook the Chicken

  • Pan-fry: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken strips 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  • Air fryer: Cook at 400°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Oven: Bake at 425°F for 15–18 minutes, flipping once.
  • Transfer to a wire rack to stay crispy.

Step 3: Warm the Tortillas

  • Heat tortillas briefly in a dry skillet or microwave until soft and pliable. This prevents tearing during assembly.

Step 4: Assemble the Wraps

  • Lay tortillas flat. Spread a spoonful of ranch down the center. Add shredded lettuce, cheese, and 2–3 chicken strips.

Step 5: Roll and Serve

  • Fold in the sides, then roll tightly from the bottom up. Slice in half if desired and serve immediately while warm.
