- 1 lb 500g potato gnocchi Fresh or store bought
- 8 oz burrata cheese Fresh is best
- 1 cup tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
- ½ cup heavy cream or half and half for lighter version
- 2 cloves garlic Minced
- 1 small onion Finely diced
- Fresh basil leaves For garnish
- Olive oil For sautéing
- Salt & pepper To taste
- Optional: Red pepper flakes & Parmesan cheese for extra flavor
Cook the gnocchi Follow package instructions, then drain and set aside.
