Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh asparagus trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • cup crumbled feta cheese
  • Pinch red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley optional

Instructions  

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F). Clean and lightly oil grill grates.
  • Rinse and thoroughly dry asparagus. Trim woody ends (about 1–2 inches).
  • Toss asparagus with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  • Place asparagus perpendicular to grill grates. Grill for 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender with light char marks.
  • Transfer to a serving platter. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle lemon zest over the top.
  • Immediately add crumbled feta so it softens slightly from the heat.
  • Garnish with red pepper flakes and fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm or at room temperature.
