Optional Toppings

  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

1. Preheat the oven

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Make the dough

  • In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt and self-rising flour.
  • Mix until a soft dough forms.
  • If the dough feels sticky, sprinkle in a little extra flour.

3. Knead the dough

  • Lightly flour a work surface and knead the dough for about 2–3 minutes until smooth.

📝 Notes

  • Protein Boost: Use high-protein pizza dough, Greek yogurt dough, or add protein-rich flour blends to increase the overall protein content.
  • Pepperoni Choice: Turkey pepperoni or reduced-fat pepperoni can be used for a lighter option without sacrificing flavor.
  • Cheese Options: Part-skim mozzarella works best for a balance of flavor and protein while keeping the rolls from becoming too greasy.
  • Even Rolling: Roll the dough tightly before slicing to keep the pizza rolls compact and prevent the filling from spilling out while baking.
  • Extra Flavor: Sprinkle Italian seasoning, garlic powder, or crushed red pepper flakes inside the rolls for added taste.
  • Dipping Sauce: Serve with warm marinara or pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
  • Storage: Store leftover pizza rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Freezing Tip: Freeze baked rolls in a freezer-safe bag for up to 2 months; reheat in the oven or air fryer until warmed through.
