Ingredients

For the sliders:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded or diced
  • 8 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 6 slices bacon cooked until crisp
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted

For the maple glaze:

  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce

Optional toppings:

  • Sliced pickles
  • Caramelized onions
  • Fresh spinach or lettuce

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the bacon

  • Cook the bacon until crisp. Place it on paper towels to drain excess grease. Chop it into small pieces once it cools.

Step 2: Mix the maple glaze

  • In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, and soy sauce. Set aside.

Step 3: Assemble the sliders

  • Slice the slider buns in half horizontally but keep the bottom layer attached.
  • Spread the chicken evenly across the buns.
  • Sprinkle bacon and cheese on top.
  • Brush half the maple glaze over the filling.

Step 4: Bake

  • Place the top half of the buns over the filling. Brush the tops with melted butter. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes until the cheese melts and the tops turn golden brown.

Step 5: Add the glaze

  • Remove from the oven. Brush the remaining maple glaze on top for extra flavor and shine.
  • Cut the sliders apart and serve warm.
