Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast sliced or shredded
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika optional, for warmth

For the Wraps

  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
  • 2 ripe avocados sliced or mashed
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce or mixed greens
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • ½ small red onion thinly sliced (optional)

Optional Sauce

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice or lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions  

Prepare the chicken

  • If your chicken isn’t already cooked, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Cook until golden and cooked through, then slice or shred.

Make the sauce (optional)

  • In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise or Greek yogurt with lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Taste and adjust as needed.

Prep the vegetables

  • Slice the avocado just before assembling to keep it fresh. Wash and dry the lettuce, halve the tomatoes, and slice the onion thinly.

Warm the tortillas

  • Lightly warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave so they’re soft and pliable.

Assemble the wraps

  • Lay each tortilla flat. Spread a thin layer of sauce if using. Add lettuce, chicken, avocado, tomatoes, and onion.

Wrap and serve

  • Fold in the sides, then roll tightly from the bottom up. Slice in half and serve immediately.
